Montesquiou has a convenience store with daily supply of fresh breads and meats, a post office with Interac machine, a hairdresser, a pharmacy, a bar and a restaurant.  Fresh produce and all other foods are available every day from local markets (markets alternate daily between nearby towns and villages).   Market foods are always fresh and of superb quality.

There are large stores and supermarkets in nearby Mirande and Auch, and lots of cute specialty stores in places frequented by tourists (Marciac, Auch, Carcasonne).

Bordeaux and Toulouse have a large-city shopping including designer fashions and items. Bordeaux is particularly recognized as a shopping heaven, with its rue Ste-Catherine claimed to be the longest (1.2 km) pedestrianized shopping street in Europe.

Andorra la Vella, the capital of the tiny Pyrénées principality of Andorra, is a popular shopping destination thanks to its tax-free status and prices.
